What to have ready:

Make sure you have the following ready to go prior to your on-premise verification:

  • Feed Information

To verify NHTC and SVN claims, we need to know what you feed your cattle. Save your feed tags and have them ready to go!

  • Vet Information

Have documentation from your vet handy so we can verify you have a current working relationship with them.

  • Feedlots: Lot Records

We use lot records to verify cattle traceability throughout the Samson PVP.

  • Treatment Records

In the SVN program, we support treating sick cattle as needed to maintain optimal herd health. During our on-site visit, we'll review treatment records to ensure that any non-conforming cattle are properly marketed with alternative claims, separate from SVN.

  • Inventory Records

Samson will review inventory of controlled drugs, which may differ depending on which program you're enrolled in.

  • Questions & Marketing Information

If you have any questions about market conditions, buyers for your cattle, or general questions about our program, have them ready! We're here to help.
